Availability

Online proofreading depends on LanguageTool's third-party public service, which has request and text-length limits. We cannot guarantee availability, speed, or uninterrupted access. Local English checks are limited and may not catch many mistakes.

Content and rights

You retain rights to text you enter. By choosing online checking, you direct your browser to send that text to LanguageTool for analysis. Please only upload or submit material you have permission to use.
